Manuel José Prieto
Vice President and Executive Director
Manuel José Prieto is a Commercial Engineer from Universidad Diego Portales with over 35 years of professional experience. His career spans various sectors, including finance, energy, food and beverages, and government service. He has held key positions at the Chilean Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including serving as Economic and Commercial Director at the Chilean Embassy in Mexico. For eight years, Manuel served as International Director at SOFOFA, one of Chile’s leading business organizations. His extensive experience includes advanced studies in Corporate Finance (Universidad de Chile), Strategic Marketing (Monterrey Institute of Technology), and Human Resources and Tax Planning (Pontifical Catholic University of Chile).

Gary Horlick is one of the world’s leading international trade lawyers, recognized by Euromoney/Institutional Investor and Who’s Who Legal. He holds degrees from Yale University and Cambridge University, and has held senior positions in both the U.S. Congress and Executive Branch. Gary is a respected professor of International Trade Law, teaching at Yale, Georgetown, Columbia, and several other prestigious universities.
Jaime Espínola
Public Policy and Corporate Affairs Expert
Jaime Espínola is an expert in public policy, sustainability, and corporate affairs. His career includes key roles at the Chilean Ministry of Energy, SOFOFA, the Association of Chilean Generators, and CGE. Jaime’s expertise helps guide CBR’s strategic engagement with both government and industry stakeholders.
Hermann González
Macroeconomic Advisor
Hermann González is an economist with a Master of Arts in Economics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile (PUC). He is the Macroeconomic Coordinator at Clapes UC, Vice President of the Autonomous Fiscal Council, and a partner at Valtin Consulting. Hermann’s insights into economic trends and policies are critical to the success of CBR’s clients.
Esteban Coindreau
Communications and Marketing Expert
Esteban Coindreau is a journalist with a Master’s in Government and Society from Universidad Alberto Hurtado and an MBA from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. As the Deputy Manager of Communications and Marketing at Mutual de Seguridad, Esteban has developed a career in strategic communication, guiding CBR’s messaging and outreach efforts.
Alejandro Palacios
Strategic Development and Sustainability Advisor
Alejandro Palacios holds a Commercial Engineering degree from PUC and an MSc in Management and Corporate Sustainability from Cranfield University, UK. He is the Strategic Development and Sustainability Manager at Kitchen Center, where he oversees initiatives that drive long-term business growth and sustainability. Alejandro’s expertise in sustainability and strategic planning is integral to CBR’s mission of fostering responsible and successful business practices.
